​Hideshi Okada is a highly accomplished medical professional with a diverse background in emergency medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and translational research. Currently, he holds positions at Gifu University's One Medicine Translational Research Center, Department of Emergency and Disaster Medicine, and the Advanced Critical Care Center at Gifu University Hospital. Dr. Okada has extensive international experience, having worked at the University of California, San Diego in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and at The Scripps Research Institute in the Department of Immunology. He has also served in various roles at Gifu University Hospital and Hyogo Prefectural Amagasaki Hospital. Dr. Okada is actively involved in several professional organizations, serving as an editor, committee member, and councilor for numerous prestigious journals and societies in the fields of emergency medicine, thrombosis and hemostasis, and microvascular research.
