Jingzheng Ren

Jingzheng Ren is Assistant Professor of Modelling for Energy, Environment and Sustainability at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering of Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He has also been nominated as adjunct/honorary associate professor of University of Southern Denmark (Denmark) and associated senior research fellow of the Institute for Security & Development Policy (Stockholm, Sweden). Prof. Ren serves as board member of several scientific journals and published more than 150 papers, authored 1 book, edited more than 10 books and published more than 40 book chapters. His research focuses on process system engineering for better sustainability and mathematical models for solving energy and environmental problems and promoting sustainability transition

Yue Liu

Yue Liu is currently a Research Associate of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her current research interests focus on life cycle assessment, sustainable waste valorization, and carbon neutrality. She has around 30 publications in high-level international journals on chemical process engineering and sustainable development, with a focus on sustainability evaluation and multi-criteria decision-making analysis for waste management technologies, such as ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, Resources Conservation and Recycling.

Abdul Moktadir

Abdul Moktadir worked as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Leather Engineering and Technology, University of Dhaka. His research interests include waste valorization, circular economy, process simulations, decision-making, supply chain design, and Industry 4.0. He has published more than 60 articles in prestigious and high-impact journals such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Environmental Management, Energy Conversion and Management, Energy, Process Safety and Environmental Protection, Resources, Conservation & Recycling, and so on.
