Varaprasad Kokkarachedu

Dr. Varaprasad Kokkarachedu is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, San Sebastián University, Chile. He received PhD (2011) in biocidal temperature-sensitive hydrogels from the Department of Polymer Science and Technology, India. He worked as an Investigator at the Advanced Polymer Research Center (CIPA), Chile. He received 3 International Postdoctoral Fellowships at Creighton University, USA, Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa, and Concepcion University, Chile. He developed the bioactivity of hybrid nanomaterials for advanced biomedical applications. He has published numerous articles, books, book chapters, and has 2 patents. His primary objective is to translate primary nano and polymer technology research results for the next generation of biomedical applications.

Gownolla Malegowd Raghavendra

Dr. Raghavendra earned both his Master’s degree and PhD in Polymer Science from the Department of Polymer Science and Technology at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, India, where he was awarded a gold medal for his Master's degree. He is also a recipient of the INSPIRE fellowship. His doctoral research focused on nanoparticle functional materials for biomedical applications. Following his PhD, Dr. Raghavendra received a postdoctoral fellowship from Yonsei University in South Korea, and currently he is an academic researcher at the Sri Krishnadevaraya University, India. His research interests span nanomaterials, green synthesis, coatings, food packaging, and composites, among other areas.
