He is an Adjunct Research Professor at the Centre for Global Health Research at Ajman University, UAE, and the Centre for Research Impact & Outcome at Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Rajpura. He is a highly accomplished pharmacologist with expertise in cardiovascular diseases, cellular senescence, and molecular mechanisms of cardiac aging. Listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford University, 2020–2024), He has authored over 700 peer-reviewed publications, with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 5000 and more than 20,000 citations. His research focuses on the roles of cellular senescence, oxidative stress, and respiratory diseases. His editorial contributions include Springer volumes on inflammatory lung diseases, epigenetics, and molecular pharmacology.

Moayad Al Shahwan

He is a distinguished Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Ajman University, UAE. Prof. Shahwan earned his Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Aligarh University, India, between 1994 and 2002. Principal Investigator (PI) in 15 internal research grants and Co-PI in 9 others. Prof. Shahwan is actively driving strategic research initiatives to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, enhance publication impact, and integrate cutting-edge methodologies such as artificial intelligence in research.

Is a Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology, in the Dept of Pharmaceutical Technology at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
