Adebowale Akande

Adebowale Akande an international social theorist and professor of behavior science in psychology, public affairs education and management. Akande is one of the world’s well-known and respected cross-cultural scientists. An emerging towering figure in social science. As a researcher on SCOPUS, he has been cited numerous times in assorted articles with an H-index of 143/23. On Google scholar, he has been cited 38,650 times in numerous articles with an i10 index of 120 and an H-index of 51. On ResearchGate index 30. Notable for the audacity of his theorizing, and the expansive scope of his global cross-cultural research in international/public affairs. One of the world’s top contributors and very productive transcultural scientist-practitioners- researchers, written or edited numerous books and hundreds of peer-reviewed journal articles/chapters/technical papers; Several reprinted in anthologies and Financial Times-50 list. Has held faculty appointments at several international Universities. Among multiple awards conferred, Akande received the Commonwealth Academic Fellowship, 1992; IUPSYS International Award, 1996; and Frank Andrew University of Michigan, in 1996; ISP Award, 2000; Taiwan Government International Scholar Fellowship 2005;, Nippon Foundation of Japan Fellowship, 2008; Fellow Schloss Leopoldskron, Austria 2008; Certificate of Honor, Indian IPM Institute, 2008, AME Harvard University Grant, 2016; AAG Award, 2018 .
