Reviews of the first edition:
"The author gives a good and clearly-written overall assessment of his subject and does not shy away from injecting his own opinions - something less experienced installers, particularly, should find helpful."—Security Installer
"A thoughtful overview of electronic monitoring, detection and asset protection systems. Security professionals with little systems experience will find this work to be a clear and useful introduction. With its broad sweep, the book will also benefit experienced professionals seeking a refresher."—Security Management
