Kamil Reza Khondakar

Dr. Kamil Reza Khondakar is a distinguished researcher with over a decade of experience in interdisciplinary science, combining physics, biomedical engineering, materials science, and artificial intelligence. He completed four years of doctoral training at the University of Queensland, Australia after receiving IPRSS fellowship from Government of Australia. He worked as research fellow for four years at the National Physical Laboratory, India, supported by a prestigious Government of India grant. His research focuses on lab-on-chip technology, microfluidics, biosensors, and point-of-care diagnostics, contributing to over 50 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals such as Accounts of Chemical Research, ACS Nano, Advances in Colloid and Interface Science, BMEMat and Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Small, etc. Dr. Kamil has delivered invited lectures in the USA and Australia on lab-on-a-chip technology for cancer detection. He has edited three Elsevier books and serves as an editor for journals: Frontiers in Nanotechnology and Biosensors. As a peer reviewer for top journals and a mentor to young researchers, he plays a vital role in advancing scientific innovation and publishing worldwide.

Shafiq Ul Rehman

Dr. Shafiq Ul Rehman is currently the acting dean and a senior assistant professor at the College of Information Technology, Kingdom University, Bahrain. His teaching and research experience spans more than 10 years. In 2017, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. From 2017 to 2020, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore. In addition to editing 4 books, he has authored over 50 international research publications in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, healthcare, IoT, and other emerging technologies. His expertise in these fields extends to academic and industrial consulting, as well as speaking and training at a variety of international organizations, conferences, and seminars. Currently, he is actively involved in several research projects pertaining to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, IoT, and emerging technologies utilizing open-source platforms. His experience includes building AI tools for healthcare systems, IoT wearable devices, security systems for networks/communication protocols, and cloud/edge computing platforms & architectures.
