Description

Energy Storage and Hydrogen Integration for Sustainable Solutions provides a clear and cohesive understanding of the technologies, challenges, and opportunities in this field, with the aim to help pave the way towards a low-carbon, sustainable energy future. This book begins by introducing renewable energy integration, and the fundamentals of energy storage technologies and hydrogen production and utilization. Subsequent chapters then guide the reader through energy storage and grid integration, hydrogen as an energy carrier in the grid, hybrid energy systems, energy storage and hydrogen in transportation, and decarbonizing industries with hydrogen integration. The policy and regulatory framework, and economic and environmental impact are covered in detail, before a chapter that brings together various real-word case studies, analyzing the strategies, challenges, and outcomes of those projects. Finally, future trends and challenges in energy storage and hydrogen integration are explored. This is a valuable resource for all those looking to gain fundamental, practical knowledge of the integration of energy storage and hydrogen technologies, including researchers, students, engineers, scientists, industry professionals, consultants, and policy makers.
