Description

Green Materials for a Circular Economy: Materials Selection, Product Development, and Lifecycle Extension Strategies provides fundamental and practical knowledge on design for circularity, especially for product development applications and throughout their entire lifecycle. Topics covered range from conceptual design to materials selection, environmental lifecycle assessment, and lifecycle extension strategies. Additionally, there are a number of recent case studies showing design for circularity in practice in applications such as automotive component design, furniture design, user behavior, and joining design. Researchers, students, design practitioners, and engineers working with green materials, biocomposites, recycling, and materials will find this book to be a comprehensive source.
