Dr. Steven Haynes is the Director and Assistant Professor of Practice for Risk Management and Insurance Technology at The University of Texas at Dallas. He has designed and taught courses combining technology and risk analysis. These courses cover topics such as principles of risk analytics, enterprise risk management, and cybersecurity. Dr. Haynes holds a Ph.D. in Fire and Emergency Management Administration. He is also certified as an Associate of Risk Management (ARM) and a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). His professional experience includes leadership roles in risk and claims management for global organizations, consulting on insurance-related resilience strategies, and contributing to research on innovative topics such as blockchain and parametric insurance.
