Ivan Urits

Ivan Urits, MD is a double board-certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Medicine Physician practicing in Wareham, Massachusetts. Dr. Urits attended Boston College before earning his medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. After returning to the Boston area, Dr. Urits completed both his residency in anesthesia and fellowship in interventional pain medicine through Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Urits is a Clinical Instructor of Anesthesiology at LSU Health Sciences School of Medicine and is actively involved in research with medical students, residents, and fellows. He has clinical interests in minimally invasive procedures such as nerve ablation, decompression procedures, injection therapy, and implantable devices including spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery. He currently has over 250 PubMed indexed research article publications and he serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious peer-reviewed journals.

Jamal Hasoon

Jamal Hasoon, MD is a double board-certified Physician in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University in Medical Humanities, completing medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and an anesthesiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed further advanced fellowship training at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in interventional pain management, being named Outstanding Pain Fellow of the Year. Besides practicing, Dr. Hasoon publishes extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics including migraine headaches, pelvic pain, low back pain, peripheral nerve stimulation, and spinal cord stimulation therapy. His special interests include minimally invasive therapies for spinal stenosis, compression fractures, peripheral nerve stimulation and spinal cord stimulation. He is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Society of Anesthesiology, and the Texas Society of Anesthesiology.
