Dr. Ajay Kumar has B.Tech (Biotechnology), M.Tech (Environmental Science and Engineering), and Ph.D in Life Sciences (Environmental Sciences). Dr. Ajay Kumar is UGC-BSR Fellow and qualified National Eligibility Test (NET-UGC) in 2015. Previously, he worked as a Senior Project Associate at Punjab Biotechnology Incubator, Mohali Under Mission Tandrust Punjab. Now, he is working as an Assistant Professor at University Center for Research and Development (UCRD), Biotechnology Engineering and Food Technology, Chandigarh University, Mohali. His research interest is in Cancer Chemoprevention using Natural Plant products. He has more than 30 publications in high-impact journals (such as Antioxidants, Journal of Functional Foods, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Frointier in Pharmacology, Molecules (MDPI), Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy, Food and Chemical Toxicology etc.) and 9 book chapters with more than 200 citations .
