More than 10 years of experience with the manipulation of natural plant products and extracts. Alba Rodriguez-Nogales

In 2017, she obtained a postdoctoral contract (Ministry of Science and Innovation, Spain) at the Universidad de Granada (UGR). Postdoctoral stay at the Gentofte Regional Hospital in Copenhagen (Denmark, 2019). Throughout her research career, she has participated in numerous national and international research projects, being investigator principal and coordinator of two of them. Awards: Best Thesis in the 2015 "Modesto Laza Palacios" from the Illustrious Association of Pharmacists of Malaga and Extraordinary Doctoral Award in health sciences area, granted by the Universidad de Granada (2018). Currently, she is an assistant professor at Universidad de Granada and her research has mainly focused on the study of the potential therapeutic effects of different compounds (probiotics, prebiotics, antibiotics, or plant extracts), as well as the search for new biomarkers and targets that can improve the diagnosis and prognosis of several inflammatory conditions, including inflammatory bowel diseases.

Currently is an Associate Professor at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Coloproctology. Member of the Brazilian Federation of Gastroenterology, of the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and an honorary member of the Brazilian Association of Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease. Member of the Study Group on Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Brazil, European Crohn's and Colitis Organization, and Pan American Crohn's Colitis Organization. Since 2005, Raquel has been doing studies associated with inflammatory bowel diseases.

Currently is a Full Professor at the Universidad de Granada (UGR), Spain. Participation in more than 20 research projects with public funding and 25 projects with private funding. Since 2010, Mario has been doing experimental studies with natural products in inflammatory bowel diseases and obesity.
