Prof. Dr. João Fernando Gomes is Habilitated Coordinating Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering in the School of Engineering (ISEL) at the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, and Senior Researcher at CERENA, University of Lisbon, in Portugal. His research covers several areas related to optimized and clean processes, clean energy and clean chemical technologies.

Jorge Mario Marchetti
Prof. Dr. Jorge Mario Marchetti is a Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology, at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), in Ås, Norway, as well as Coordinator of the European Research Project UNPRECEDENTED. Dr. Marchetti is the leader of the Reaction Engineering and Catalysis Group which works on waste-based biorefinery, biochemical production, biofuel production, and mathematical modeling, kinetics modeling and techno economy assessment of upscaling technologies.
