David Borge-Diez

David Borge-Diez is a Professor in Electrical Engineering and a member of the Intelligent Energy Management Systems research group at the University of Leon in Spain. Prof. Borge-Diez has a PhD in Energy Engineering, Masters’ degrees in Industrial Technology Research and Industrial Engineering, and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering. His work in teaching and as a researcher in focused on energy, with special emphasis in the use of unconventional energy sources an energy efficiency. For more than 8 years, he has worked in private companies nationally and internationally, developing research projects and engineering work, alongside his teaching and research in the academic environment.

Enrique Rosales-Asensio

Enrique Rosales-Asensio is an Assistant Professor at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) in Spain. Prior to this he taught for five years, first as a Collaborating Professor at the American University at Europe, and then as Assistant Prof. at the University of Leon for two years. Rosales-Asensio specializes as an industrial engineer with postgraduate degrees in electrical engineering, business administration, and quality, health, safety, and environment management systems. He has published 39 scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals, authored 12 book chapters, contributed to 10 research conferences with relative quality indices, and edited 7 international books and 5 special issues in peer-reviewed international journals. His main research interests are in efficiency and energy saving, electrical energy storage systems, distributed generation, and cogeneration and trigeneration.
