Fuß & Sprunggelenk is the official journal of the German Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society e. V. (D. A. F.).

Foot and ankle surgery has developed into a highly sophisticated and differentiated specialist area. With scientific original articles, reviews inside and outside of special topics, reports on modern surgical techniques, case reports, clinical tips and tricks as well as information on legal issues, the journal represents the current scientific status of foot and ankle surgery.

Besides covering all core aspects of foot and ankle surgery such as orthopaedics, trauma and reconstructive surgery, including sports medicine, the journal also features related topics like diabetic foot care, rheumatology, orthotics and insoles, dermatology, plastic surgery, novel biomaterials, biomechanics, gait analysis, cartilage repair, and podiatric surgery and orthopaedics.

The Journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, and case reports from all countries, in English or German.
