HPB features relevant aspects of clinical and translational research and practice.Specific areas of interest include HPB diseases encountered globally by clinical practitioners in this specialist field of gastrointestinal surgery. The journal addresses the challenges faced in the management of cancer involving the liver, biliary system and pancreas. While surgical oncology represents a large part of HPB practice, submission of manuscripts relating to liver and pancreas transplantation, the treatment of benign conditions such as acute and chronic pancreatitis, and those relating to hepatobiliary infection and inflammation are also welcomed. There will be a focus on developing a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment with endoscopic and laparoscopic approaches, radiological interventions and surgical techniques being strongly represented. HPB welcomes submission of manuscripts in all these areas and in scientific focused research that has clear clinical relevance to HPB surgical practice.HPB aims to help its readers - surgeons, physicians, radiologists and basic scientists - to develop their knowledge and practice.     Transfusion Medicine Reviews provides an international forum in the English language for the publication of scholarly work devoted to the various sub-disciplines that comprise Transfusion Medicine including blood donation and processing, immunohematology, laboratory methods, clinical transfusion practice, hemostasis, cellular therapies, and transfusion and public policy. The aim of the journal is to inform clinicians, researchers, patients, and policy makers to the latest advances in our field. We do this primarily through the publication of original research and analytic reviews. Our original research articles must present original scientific experiments or clinical observations. Our reviews aim to give readers a deeper understanding of the knowledge-base of our field through papers that critically assess the existing literature rather than just summarize it. We expect authors to provide expert, unbiased, insightful analysis of their topic. All manuscripts undergo peer review by a minimum of two reviewers. Our scope includes clinical research, implementation science, quality improvement, and translational studies that bridge scientific discovery and clinical practice.The journal focuses on three major, integrated domains: cardiovascular disease (such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and structural heart conditions), pulmonary disease (including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary vascular disorders), and critical and acute care, specifically as it relates to patients with underlying or primary cardiopulmonary conditions.All manuscripts must clearly demonstrate a clinical and translational impact. Basic science, animal studies, or work in cellular or molecular models without direct human applicability will not be considered. Genomics and biomarker research are welcome only if the findings have clear translational relevance to cardiopulmonary care.The journal does not consider work in rehabilitation science, psychometric scale development, or workforce issues unless it is directly linked to improving outcomes in patients with cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease.We encourage submissions from interdisciplinary teams, across diverse settings and populations, and from researchers around the globe.     The purpose of the International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology is to concentrate and disseminate information concerning prevention, cure and care of otorhinolaryngologic... disorders in infants and children. This includes a broad range of clinical and pathological disorders involving the ears, nose, throat and associated structures. The Journal provides a medium for clinical and basic science contributions in all of the areas of pediatric otorhinolaryngology. This includes medical and surgical otology, bronchoesophagology, laryngology, rhinology, diseases of the head and neck, and disorders of communication. Given that this is a pediatric-focused journal, all submissions that deal with clinical populations should have a patient age range of 0-18 years of age. Manuscripts with patients outside of this age range will not be considered for publication. The journal typically does not publish case reports unless there is an exceptional and novel case report is a very unique or important area within pediatric otolaryngology.
