Pedobiologia
Pedobiologia (Journal of Soil Ecology) publishes peer reviewed articles describing original work in the field of soil ecology, which includes the study of soil organisms and their interactions with factors in their biotic and abiotic environments. Analysis of biological structures, interactions, functions, and processes in soil is fundamental for understanding the dynamical nature of terrestrial ecosystems, a prerequisite for appropriate soil management. The scope of this journal consists of fundamental and applied aspects of soil ecology; key focal points include interactions among organisms in soil, organismal controls on soil processes, causes and consequences of soil biodiversity, and aboveground-belowgro... interactions. The journal publishes:original research that tests clearly defined hypotheses addressing topics of current interest in soil ecology (including studies demonstrating nonsignificant effects);description... of novel methodological approaches, or evaluations of current approaches, that address a clear need in soil ecology research;innovative syntheses of the soil ecology literature, including metaanalyses, topical in depth reviews and short opinion/perspective pieces, and descriptions of original conceptual frameworks; andshort notes reporting novel observations of ecological significance.- issn

Optical Fiber Technology
Innovations in optical fiber technology are revolutionizing world communications. Newly developed fiber amplifiers allow for direct transmission of high-speed signals over transcontinental distances without the need for electronic regeneration. Optical fibers find new applications in data processing. The impact of fiber materials, devices, and systems on communications in the coming decades will create an abundance of primary literature and the need for up-to-date reviews.Optical Fiber Technology: Materials, Devices, and Systems is a new cutting-edge journal designed to fill a need in this rapidly evolving field for speedy publication of regular length papers. Both theoretical and experimental papers on fiber materials, devices, and system performance evaluation and measurements are eligible, with emphasis on practical applications.Issues and Applications Covered Include:• Optical fiber components • New fiber materials and designs • Fiber lasers and amplifiers • Fiber switching, memory, and signal processing • Modulation format for transmission systems • Fiber nonlinearities and countermeasures • Long-haul transmission systems • Fiber local area networks • Fiber sensors and instrumentationThe journal provides valuable information for engineers and researchers in optical fiber technology, in both industry and academia.- issn

Nonlinear Analysis
An International Mathematical JournalNonlinear Analysis aims at publishing high-quality research papers broadly related to the analysis of partial differential equations and their applications. Submissions are encouraged in the areas of expertise of the editorial board.- issn

The Extractive Industries and Society
The Extractive Industries and Society is the one journal devoted to disseminating in-depth analysis of the socio-economic and environmental impacts of mining and oil and gas production on societies, both past and present. It provides a platform for the exchange of ideas on a wide range of issues and debates on the extractive industries and development, bringing together research undertaken by an interdisciplinary group of social scientists in academia, government, the NGO community and industry. Topics covered by the journal include environmental management at mines and rigs; Corporate Social Responsibility and community development; the environmental and social impacts of artisanal and small-scale mining in developing countries; corruption and the extractive industries; industry reform; the donor community and the extractive industries; climate change and fossil fuel extraction; and taxation and foreign direct investment in the sector. Submissions which draw upon experiences from both developed and developing countries are invited from across the social sciences. The journal publishes original research articles, field reports, critical reviews, conference reports, book reviews and short correspondences.- issn

Rangelands
Rangelands publishes articles on the current state of the science and art of rangeland management. As a publication of the Society for Range Management, Rangelands provides readers relevant information founded in the current rangeland science and management knowledge base in an approachable format. Rangeland management occurs at the nexus of ecology, soil science, hydrology, animal science, economics, social science, policy, and culture, and each peer-reviewed issue of Rangelands synthesizes these diverse fields for a wide community of land owners, rangeland managers, researchers, educators, and policymakers. Rangelands articles are more accessible and contextualized than typical of a traditional research journal while maintaining a high level of scientific merit and quality. If you are a member of the Society for Range Management, please read here for more information about how to access the journals.- issn

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics
The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics exists primarily for dissemination of significant new knowledge in experimental equilibrium thermodynamics and transport properties of chemical systems. The defining attributes of The Journal are the quality and relevance of the papers published. The Journal publishes work relating to gases, liquids, solids, polymers, mixtures, solutions and interfaces. Studies on systems with variability, such as biological or bio-based materials, gas hydrates, among others, will also be considered provided these are well characterized and reproducible where possible. Experimental methods should be described in sufficient detail to allow critical assessment of the accuracy claimed.Authors are encouraged to provide physical or chemical interpretations of the results. Articles can contain modelling sections providing representations of data or molecular insights into the properties or transformations studied. Theoretical papers on chemical thermodynamics using molecular theory or modelling are also considered. The Journal welcomes review articles in the field of chemical thermodynamics but prospective authors should first consult one of the Editors concerning the suitability of the proposed review.Contributions of a routine nature or reporting on uncharacterised materials are not accepted. We strongly encourage all authors to use Editorial Manager at the following URL when submitting papers to The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics: https://www.editoria... Style guide Please consult the Guide for Authors for further details on the requirements for submitting your paper to The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics. The guidelines described in this document, as well as those listed in the JCT Style Notes, should be carefully adhered to ensure high-quality and rapid publication of your manuscript.- issn
