Journal of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism offers a dedicated outlet for social science and natural resource research relevant to outdoor recreation and nature-based tourism.The journal publishes peer-reviewed, original research that advances our understanding of outdoor recreation and nature-based tourism in the context of sustainable outdoor leisure sites and protected area management and planning. JORT covers the entire spectrum of settings, ranging from wilderness to urban outdoor recreation opportunities.JORT is an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary journal. Articles may focus on any aspect of theory, method, or concept of outdoor recreation or nature-based tourism research, planning, or management. Interdisciplinary work is especially welcome and may be of a theoretical and/or case study nature. Depending on the topic of investigation, articles may be positioned within a single academic discipline or drawn from multiple disciplines in an integrative manner. Submissions should have an overarching relevance to the social sciences and natural resources and demonstrate a clear connection to nature-based tourism or outdoor recreation in natural settings. Submissions may comprise fundamental or applied research but should offering insights into the relevance of the work for managers, planners, and policymakers. Therefore, each article is accompanied by an executive summary, written by the editors or authors, highlighting the aspects of the article most relevant to outdoor recreation and nature-based tourism planning and management.JORT is international in scope and attracts scholars from all reaches of the world to facilitate the exchange of ideas. Discrete Optimization publishes research papers on the mathematical, computational and applied aspects of all areas of integer programming and combinatorial optimization. In addition to reports on mathematical results pertinent to discrete optimization, the journal welcomes submissions on algorithmic developments, and computational experiments. The journal also welcomes clearly-labeled reports on novel real-life applications of discrete optimization that are of broad interest to the scientific community. The Journal of Algebra is a leading international journal and publishes papers that demonstrate high quality research results in algebra and related computational aspects. Only the very best and most interesting papers are to be considered for publication in the journal. With this in mind, it is important that the contribution offer a substantial result that will have a lasting effect upon the field. The journal also seeks work that presents innovative techniques that offer promising results for future research.The Computational Algebra Section provides an appropriate forum for contributions which make use of computer calculations and to broaden the scope of the Journal.The following papers are particularly welcome in the Computational Algebra section of the Journal of Algebra: Results obtained by computer calculations - to be suitable for publication such results must represent a major advance of mathematics. It is not sufficient to extend previous computations by means of higher computer power. Rather the contribution has to exhibit new methods and mathematical results to be accepted. Classifications of specific algebraic structures (in form of tables, if appropriate), which are not easily obtained and are useful to the algebraic community. Description and outcome of experiments, to put forward new conjectures, to support existing conjectures, or to give counter examples to existing conjectures. Papers emphasizing the constructive aspect of algebra, such as description and analysis of new algorithms (not program listings, nor, in the first instance, discussions of software development issues), improvements and extensions of existing algorithms, description of computational methods which are not algorithms in the strict sense (since, e.g., they need not terminate). Interactions between algebra and computer science, such as automatic structures, word problems and other decision problems in groups and semigroups, preferably, but not necessarily, with an emphasis on practicality, implementations, and performance of the related algorithms. Contributions are welcome from all areas of algebra, including algebraic geometry or algebraic number theory, if the emphasis is on the algebraic aspects.Contribution... describing applications of algebraic results or methods, for example in coding theory, cryptography, or the algebraic theory of differential equations are highly welcome.
