Current Opinion in Colloid and Interface Science (COCIS) is an International Journal focused molecular and nanoscopic aspects of colloidal systems and interfaces encountered in materials science, biologically-relevan... systems, energy and environmental technologies, and industrial applications. COCIS is not a primary journal; rather, it seeks to guide the researcher through the maze of recently published literature, critically analyses the state of the art, identifies bottlenecks, unsolved issues and proposes future developments. COCIS articles are not intended to be comprehensive compilations of the relevant literature, but are rather personal articles by the invited contributor(s), which aim to inform the reader of the major developments in the area, and to identify those papers which have made the greatest impact on the field, and open new perspectives. The aim of the Journal is to provide a forum for the critical analysis of advanced drug and gene delivery systems and their applications in human and veterinary medicine.
