Journal of Biomechanics
The Journal of Biomechanics publishes reports of original and substantial findings using the principles of mechanics to explore biological problems. Analytical, as well as experimental papers may be submitted, and the journal accepts original articles, surveys and perspective articles (usually by Editorial invitation only), book reviews and letters to the Editor. The criteria for acceptance of manuscripts include excellence, novelty, significance, clarity, conciseness and interest to the readership.The Journal does not consider simultaneous submissions of manuscripts in multiple parts or series. The Review of Palaeobotany and Palynology is an international journal for articles in all fields of palaeobotany and aquatic and terrestrial palynology dealing with fossil remains of biota composed of persistent organic remains derived from marine, freshwater and terrestrial environments. Original contributions and comprehensive review papers should appeal to an international audience. Typical topics include systematics, evolution, palaeobiology, palaeoecology, biostratigraphy, biogeochemistry, biochronology, palaeoclimatology, paleogeography, taphonomy, palaeoenvironmental reconstructions, and practical applications of palaeobotany and palynology, e.g. in coal and petroleum geology, forensics, and archaeology. NOTE: All articles, except correspondence, will be peer-reviewed and should be of high scientific level.* Journal paper submissions based on past conference publications are only allowed if the submitted manuscript is significantly extended or otherwise enhanced. Such expression can determine whether a loose economic intuition has a coherent, logical meaning. Also, a full formal development of economic ideas can itself suggest new economic concepts and intuitions.The primary objective of the Journal is to provide a forum for work in economic theory which expresses economic ideas using formal mathematical reasoning. For work to add to this primary objective, it is not sufficient that the mathematical reasoning be new and correct. The work must have real economic content. Journal of Luminescence is an interdisciplinary journal of research on the excited state processes on condensed matter. The journal provides a means of communication between scientists in different disciplines who share a common interest in the electronic excited states of molecular, ionic and covalent systems, whether crystalline, amorphous, or liquid. Submissions in the traditional areas of optical spectroscopy (absorption, magnetic circular dichroism, luminescence, Raman scattering, radiative & non-radiative relaxation) are welcome.
