Cognitive Psychology publishes articles that make important theoretical contributions in any area of cognition, including memory, attention, perception, language processing, categorization, thinking, and reasoning. The development and decline of cognitive processes as a function of maturation and aging are also relevant topics. Cognitive Psychology specializes in longer, more integrative articles that have a major impact on theories of cognition. We welcome submissions that use modeling or neuroscientific approaches, literature reviews, or incisive experiments to provide a substantial theoretical advance. Official Journal of the World Sleep Society and International Pediatric Sleep AssociationSleep Medicine aims to be a journal no one involved in clinical sleep medicine can do without.A journal primarily focussing on the human aspects of sleep, integrating the various disciplines that are involved in sleep medicine: neurology, clinical neurophysiology, internal medicine (particularly pulmonology and cardiology), psychology, psychiatry, sleep technology, pediatrics, neurosurgery, otorhinolaryngology, and dentistry.The journal publishes the following types of articles: Reviews (also intended as a way to bridge the gap between basic sleep research and clinical relevance); Original Research Articles; Full-length articles; Brief communications; Controversies; Case reports; Letters to the Editor.Specific features include: Hot topic series: These focus series present four to six invited review articles, written by excellent experts in the field. The series address major topics of sleep medicine, e.g. sleep related breathing disturbances, insomnia, new technologies in sleep medicine etc.). Computers & Education
Computers & Education aims to increase knowledge and understanding of ways in which digital technology can enhance education, through the publication of high-quality research, which extends theory and practice. The Editors welcome research papers on the pedagogical uses of digital technology, where the focus is broad enough to be of interest to a wider education community.We do not publish small-scale evaluations of specific software/systems in specialist domains or particular courses in individual institutions (unless the findings have broader relevance that is explicitly drawn out in the paper). Papers that include discussions of the implementation of software and/or hardware should focus on the context of use, the user/system interface, usability issues and evaluations of the user experience and impacts on and particularly on the implications for learning and teaching. Computers as a delivery platform only is insufficient. Detailed information on implementation architecture should NOT be included in the paper, but may be provided via URLs.We welcome systematic review papers and meta-analyses that include clear research questions, a framework of analysis, and conclusions that reflect the aims of the paper. See PRISMA guidelines for further advice.Authors should take care to refer to and abide by the author guidelines. Papers that do not address the criteria outlined in the author guidelines will be returned without review.
