Analytic Methods in Accident Research
Analytic Methods in Accident Research publishes manuscripts that deal with the development and/or application of innovative statistical and econometric methods to the study of vehicle crashes and other transportation and non-transportation-r... accidents. The intent of the journal is to demonstrate how such innovative methodological approaches can be used to provide new insights and quantification of the factors that affect the frequency and severity of accidents - thus providing new guidance for the implementation of appropriate countermeasures. While the focus of the journal is on the underlying analytic approach, acceptable application areas include all elements of transportation safety (road, pedestrian, air, rail, and water safety), construction safety, and any area of study where the unintended consequences of human behavior, machine failures or system failures result in property damage and/or bodily injury.- ISSN: 2213-6657

Thin-Walled Structures
Thin-walled structures comprise an important and growing proportion of engineering construction with areas of application becoming increasingly diverse, ranging from aircraft, automotive, bridges, ships, oil rigs to storage vessels, industrial buildings and warehouses. Many factors, including cost and weight economy, new materials and processes and the growth of powerful methods of analysis have contributed to this growth, and led to the need for a journal which concentrates specifically on structures in which problems arise due to the thinness of the walls. This field includes cold–formed sections, plate and shell structures, reinforced plastics structures and aluminium structures, and is of importance in many branches of engineering. Recently, this field has also been extended to include thin-walled nanostructures, such as 2D X-enes (e.g. graphene) and other related ones, and their mechanical and strength properties. The primary criterion for consideration of papers in Thin-Walled Structures is that they must be concerned with thin–walled structures or the basic problems inherent in thin–walled structures. Provided this criterion is satisfied no restriction is placed on the type of construction, material or field of application. Papers on theory, experiment, design, etc., are published and it is expected that many papers will contain aspects of all three.- ISSN: 0263-8231

Journal of Constructional Steel Research
The Journal of Constructional Steel Research provides an international forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest developments in structural steel research and their applications in civil engineering. It is aimed not only at researchers but also at those likely to be most affected by research results, i.e. designers and fabricators. Original papers of a high standard dealing with all structural engineering aspects of steel and metal structures including theoretical and experimental research on the behaviour and strength of elements, assemblages, connections and material properties are considered for publication. Submissions substantially concerned with the strength of the concrete component in steel-concrete composite members, including shear stud connections, may not suit the journal. Submissions on pipelines do not fall within the journal's scope. Those presenting research findings in a form suitable for practical use are especially welcome. Papers reporting work in progress will also be included, provided the long-term practical implications of the research are evident, as will state-of-the-art papers, or those by designers and fabricators dealing with issues bearing directly on research. The journal will also present technical notes, book reviews, discussions and letters to the Editor. It is intended that at intervals summaries will be included indicating current research activities throughout the world, and reports of conferences and meetings related specifically to constructional steelwork. Announcements of conference and symposia are also included in the form of a calendar.- ISSN: 0143-974X
